GORGEOUS antique scarf or small wrap with beautiful wide METALLIC gold lace in a intricate floral pattern with silk velvet, that dates from about the 1920s.
It is a lovely gold lace with beautiful patina, it is a rare lace that is wide 6.5 inches wide and measures about 27 inches in length along the edge. The black velvet appears to be silk velvet, but maybe rayon silk, in fabulous supple luxury.
The condition is wonderful, looks seldom used/worn, ready to be worn as a large scarf, small wrap, perfect for so many beautiful fine heirloom sewing projects! You can cut it apart and use the lace as appliques! So many beautiful possibilities!
