FABULOUS antique French coffee grinder mill, manufactured by Japy Freres & co (Beaucourt Paris, France).
Beautiful patina and very decorative!
Japy Freres & Co were mostly known as watch and clock movement makers, they also manufactured coffee grinders. The company ceased in the 1930s. The grinder has a wooden body and an iron lid and mechanism. The mechanism has not been tested, it was used as a wonderful decorative item.
The grinder has a drawer and is in overall wonderful condition. There is an age crack on the back top which is common for this age otherwise just wonderful.
Perfect for the farmhouse décor, French country décor. A very handsome antique French coffee grinder to decorate with.
